K-5 TUTORING AND HOMEWORK SUPPORT
Johns Creek SAT PREP & Tutoring now offers after school and weekend private tutoring and homework support for students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Our certified elementary teachers have experience working with this age group and are experts in diagnosing weaknesses. Once these weaknesses are identified, our teachers create a personalized educational plan to improve those areas, as well as enrich other areas. The major difference with JC PREP's tutors and other centers is that we hire only the best experienced certified teachers who know the curriculum standards and have the creativity to connect with students to make learning fun and effective, while building student confidence.
**Our tutoring program requires that students and parents are serious about improvement. In addition, both parents and students must be committed to the program and willing to keep their weekly appointments.
- Private One-On-One Tutoring ($65/hour). Each certified elementary teacher or qualified tutor works with their student for one hour sessions, typically once or twice a week. Since our teacher are experienced, certified, and currently teaching, they are familiar with local and state curriculum and will cater to your child's needs. They will pull resources whenever necessary and customize a learning plan for your child.
- Homework Support ($35/hour per student for up to four students). Small groups work with a certified experienced teacher in one-hour sessions, twice a week (typically Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday). Students will work on homework, remediation, and enrichment in a small group setting. This is a great program and option for parents who understand the value of having a professional teacher reteach/reinforce essential skills while students work on completing their homework.
