Johns Creek SAT Prep & Tutoring offers private tutoring; featuring certified local teachers and knowledgeable/qualified private tutors.  Our tutors are energetic, enthusiastic experts within their fields.  Our tutors not only know how to teach, but they emphasize what to learn (this comes naturally because the vast majority of our teachers/tutors currently teach in local schools and are experts regarding local and state curriculum).  Our goal is to connect with students so they enjoy each tutoring session while maximizing their academic potential; this is our proven recipe for success!  Pairing the right tutor with each student is a critical part of the tutoring process. We offer four different tutoring options to fit the needs of each student and the budget of each family.  With the right tutor, private tutoring may prove to be an invaluable experience for the student. More often than not, private tutoring proves to be VERY effective in building student confidence while seeing amazing results and academic improvement.

• Private One-On-One Tutoring ($65/hour).  Each certified teacher or qualified tutor works with their student for one hour sessions, typically once or twice a week.  Private TEST PREP (SAT or ACT) tutoring is $70/hour.
• Small Group Tutoring ($50/hour per student for two students, and $40/hour per student for three students).  Small groups of two or three students work with a certified teacher in one-hour sessions, typically once or twice a week.  We encourage students to find classmates who are serious about improving in a particular subject and work together with our teachers to maximize their learning potential.
• Advanced Placement Tutoring ($70/hour)  Each certified teacher who tutors Advanced Placement subjects is qualified to teach the uppermost levels of the curriculum.  Our teachers who tutor Advanced Placement students actually teach AP courses and are able to give students invaluable insight, confidence, and the necessary skills to succeed.  Small Group Advanced Placement tutoring is also available ($50/hour per student for two students, and $40/hour per student for three students).
• Peer Tutoring with a local “high-achieving” high school student ($35/hour).  Each peer tutor is screened and mentored by a certified teacher to ensure that he/she is knowledgeable in the area that he/she is tutoring.  In addition, each peer tutor must prove to be able to effectively communicate and teach at the appropriate level.  Peer tutoring is a great option for younger students and/or students who feel more comfortable working with other students.

**Our tutoring program requires that students are serious about improvement.  In addition, both parents and students must be committed to the program and willing to keep their weekly appointments.  Students are only allowed one “re-schedule” per academic semester (provided they give sufficient advance notice).
